FAQs
what is soulstice?
A bi-weekly publication for deeper living. Every other Sunday, we send a letter with reflection prompts, seasonal wisdom, wellness guidance, and culture recommendations. We also publish a library of articles on the website (the collection) covering body, spirit, life, relationships, and culture.
Think: the magazine you wish existed—but in your inbox.
what's the difference between the journal and the collection?
The journal is the bi-weekly letter that arrives in your inbox—intimate, reflective, ritualistic. The collection is our library of longer articles on the website—searchable, practical, designed to be found when you need them.
They work together. The collection is how many people find us. The journal is why they stay.
who is behind soulstice?
A small team nurturing something that's missing everywhere else. [Meet us here →]
what do I get for free?
Two gift issues of the journal, delivered at our regular cadence, every other Sunday for two Sundays. Enough to know if this is your kind of space.
what do members get?
The full soulstice journal delivered to their emails every other Sunday (not just the two gift issues), the complete archive of past issues, seasonal guides, downloadable private resources, and first access to everything we create.
how often will I hear from you?
Every other Sunday. That's it. We don't flood your inbox. The rhythm is intentional—enough to build a practice, not so much it becomes noise.
why would I pay for a newsletter?
You wouldn't. You'd pay for a space you want to return to—one that isn't trying to sell you anything else, isn't supported by ads, and is built to help you actually change, and not just consume. One that takes an actually holistic, organic approach to wellbeing, and a spiritual, edgy approach to lifestyle. One that cares as much about human rights and the planet we all share as a home as it does about art and beauty. One that writes to you—not to algorithms, or "the chat" or "the public".
If that's not worth $8/month to you, the free version is genuinely valuable on its own.
what makes this different from other wellness content?
We're not wellness content, simply put. We're not optimizing for engagement, or making daily posts, or looking to go viral.
We cultivate a relationship with our readers, reader by reader.
We look at the systemic problems, and make them practical. We look at life, and take it whole. We stake positions instead of hedging, we ignore what's fake, and we are shameless in what matters. We'd rather be useful to some people than palatable to everyone.
how do I know if this is for me?
You're probably in the right place if you're exhausted by wellness content that feels like more work, if you want depth without the woo, and if "self-improvement" has started to feel like another thing you're failing at.
You're probably not in the right place if you want daily motivation, quick fixes, or content that tells you everything is fine.
how much does membership cost?
$8/month or $80/year. If you're new, your first year is $60—which is the same as getting over four months free.
is there an annual option?
Yes—and it's the best way to join. $80/year saves you two months compared to monthly. First-year members get it for $60, which is over four months free.
Same full access, better value, and you won't think about it again for a year.
can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, and back again.
can I gift a membership?
Yes. You can gift soulstice directly from our membership page—just select the gift option at checkout.
can I cancel anytime or am I locked in?
Yes. No questions, no hoops, no guilt. You can manage everything from your account (this is found in our hub, which you can access by selecting "read online" on any issue).
what if I can't afford membership right now?
Stay on the free list. Seriously. You can downgrade your account to free without unsubscribing or deleting it. If you do this, you’ll keep access until the end of your billing period. You'll still have access to the two gift issues, but you’ll only receive the monthly mini shared with non-members, and the occasional update. You'll also keep access to the collection (our digital magazine). We'd rather you be here in whatever capacity works than not at all. Then, you can reactivate any time and pick up right where you left off.
When the timing is right, we'll be here.
